157. Pax

Tum Rómulus
cum hoste,
qui
montem Tarpeíum tenébat,
pugnam conséruit
in eo loco,
ubi nunc
forum Románum est.
In média caede
raptae processérunt,
et hinc patres,
hinc cóniuges et sóceros
complectebántur
et rogábant
ut caedis finem fácerent.
Utríque
his précibus commóti sunt.
Rómulus
foedus icit
et Sabínos in urbem recépit.
