Diéneci, duci Lacedaemónio,
quidam dixit,
"Persárum multitúdo
est ingens:
sagíttae eórum
solem obscurábunt."
Cui
respóndit Diéneces,
"Id nobis magno erit úsui:
in umbra enim pugnábimus."
