Vivébant olim in lacu
ad Stymphálum in Arcádia
aves
pédibus et rostris et pennis
aéneis:
utebántur autem pennis suis
pro sagíttis
et carne hóminum
vescebántur.
Aves adórtus
Hércules,
sistro aéneo extérruit,
tum
fúgere conántes
sagíttis interfécit.
